Are you interested in learning, but don't necessarily need credit? We offer a variety of courses and workshops designed to address professional and personal interests.

Our current offerings can help you advance your career, meet organizational training needs, develop new skills or spark your creativity. These courses and workshops provide quality instruction at affordable prices, as well as convenient times and locations.

We are committed to life-long learning and we want to be responsive to your needs. We're able to develop custom training programs for your organization or business. Asian Cultures in Secular and Sacred Relations:
Pasts and Presents A Faculty Development Program and Community Forum

This multidisciplinary faculty development and community workshop is designed to help college and university instructors infuse content on Asian culture into their undergraduate courses. Activities begin with a town hall meeting, then the workshops open with sessions examining the dynamism and complexity of Asian cultures.

Human Resource Management Certificate

Sept '08 - May '09

This series of management courses may be taken either for academic credit or through Extended Education for Continuing Education Units.

You know Human Resources. Now learn the advanced skills you need to positively impact your organization’s business strategy through Evergreen’s HRM Certificate Program.

Program Benefits

  • A learning community led by instructors with both academic and practical experience, who also value your experience and that of your peers in the field.
  • Experiential learning through lectures, seminars, discussions, case studies, role play, simulations and work-related projects focused on strategic management challenges in today’s workplace.
  • Networking with contacts in our local HR community.
  • Flexible evening and weekend schedules, with six required core courses plus five specialized electives

A Certificate and 16 Academic Credits or 16 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) will be awarded upon successful completion of the program. The HRM Certificate Program also serves as a foundation for certification tests in human resources.

Schedule
Electives generally meet for one full weekend:
Fri. (5-9pm); Sat. & Sun. (9am-5pm).
Courses generally meet evenings (6-10pm) during the week.

Program Fees
$250.00 (Per course, for CEU’s)
$346.50 (Per course, for academic credit)
