Financial Aid for MPA Students

Financial Aid

Many students admitted to the MPA program are eligible for some form of financial aid. This may include student loans, scholarships, tuition waivers, and other forms of assistance. The Evergreen Financial Aid Office determines eligibility for, and administers, the federal student loan program. The MPA program provides additional financial assistance, such as tuition waivers, scholarships, fellowships and work-study. The MPA program makes a strong effort to award aid to as many students as possible, contingent upon the availability of funds.

To apply for all* forms of financial aid, including student loans, scholarships, tuition waivers, and other forms of assistance:

  • STEP 1: Complete the 2008-09 FAFSA as soon as possible after 1/1/08

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Evergreen Financial Aid Data Sheet. Follow the instructions listed under "The Financial Aid Process for Graduate Students" on the Graduate Student Financial Aid page of the college's Office of Financial Aid website.

  • STEP 2: Submit the 2008-09 MPA Financial Aid Application by 5/1/08 (Word | PDF ) Note: we have completed distribution of all 2008-09 MPA Financial Aid funds.

For MPA sponsored tuition waivers, scholarships, work-study and other aid to persons admitted to the MPA program, review the 2008-09 MPA Financial Aid Application Packet and submit the application and all required materials as noted by May 1, 2008 (Word | PDF).

Opportunities for scholarship assistance are limited. For priority consideration, MPA applicants and continuing students should complete their 2008-09 financial aid applications by May 1.
